Spring on over to Gaylord Opryland!
If you have been following me for a while you know a staycation at Gaylord Opryland is one of our favorite things to do! Nothing beats the ultimate family fun at the resort. From amazing food, a comfortable place to sleep, and endless activities Gaylord Opryland is a blast!
This time we got to bring some family along for the fun. With my sister being in town I knew we had to plan a trip to Opryland so the kids could have a blast together. Our rooms connected so essentially it was one big fun filled sleepover for the little ones. One thing I love about the Gaylord is it’s variety of options, they have something to do for every age. We spent 24 hours at the resort and packed in everything we could.
SoundWaves was definitely the biggest hit! The water park is simply amazing and unlike any other that we have been to. Our group had children ages 3-6. They have safe sections for the toddlers which I truly appreciated. The littles ones went up and down the slide 100 times. My niece Jaclynn loved all the bigger slides, lazy rivers, and rock wall. This was only the indoor section, in May the park will expand outdoors making the experience even bigger! Oh and parents be sure to grab a Blue Note drink. It’s a boozy slushee and delicious.
You can feel Spring is in the air, Gaylord Opryland is very creative each season. They switch up the atmosphere to creative a captivating seasonal experience. Glowing Tulips light up the night and are a great addition to the beautiful lighting aesthetic. Don’t miss your opportunity to paint with fairies and decorate cookies. The delta River boat ride is also a must do. Our favorite places to eat are Jack Daniels and Old Hickory Steakhouse. Jack Daniels is perfect for grabbing something casual, while Old Hickory Steakhouse is more on the fancy side. I definitely recommend making reservations at both. Overall our stay once again was amazing. If you are looking to getaway or headed to Nashville Gaylord Opryland Resort is 100% the place to stay! Book your stay at Gaylord Opryland
